The MARINE GANG surf-casting minnow has evolved once more, delivering even greater long-distance outperformance to restate its air superiority in the saltwater scene.
The COOKAI is equipped with Megabass patented LBO II moving balancer system, harnessing micro-ball bearings to shift the balancer weight with astonishing ease. This nearly frictionless engineering maximizes the powerful impact of the weight transfer system, significantly improving long-distance castability. Further, the LBO II(PAT.) is carefully placed to synchronize casting and roll-axis vectors, powering instant action from the first handle turn and stable, seductively flashy movement from a dead-slow up to an ultra-high-speed retrieve.
In 2023, we are proud to expand the series into 120mm and 90mm sizes to cater to a wider range of fishing situations. With an uncompromising blend of essential saltwater minnow characteristics, MARINE GANG COOKAI extends its airborne dominance, reaching for monsters at the outer limits of the saltwater game.
When casting, the lure’s flight posture and trajectory are optimally aligned by the LBO II system. Harnessing ball bearings to reduce friction, the balancer moves with astonishing ease, leaping with mighty inertial impact to power incredible long-distance castability that defies headwinds.
As soon as the retrieve starts, the balancer is instantly guided and locked into the appropriate swimming position by the lure’s forward-mounted neodymium magnetic field. The lure’s instantaneous action startup expands its effectiveness, triggering bites at the point of splashdown. The lure does not lose control even in strong currents and rough waves, and swims through challenging waters with an outstanding stability.
